The BTB School of Feng Shui is a Western school rooted in the ancient practices of Shamanism and Taosim, with a compassion that is meant to grow and shift with the evolution of modern times and modern homes. With Feng Shui principles and practices, Mallory will examine how the energy- or qi- is flowing through your spaces. By applying Feng Shui techniques, stagnant energy can be revitalized which can invite positive life changes and empower you to create the changes you desire.
Feng Shui Consultations
In person or online consultations can help you align with your goals removing stagnant energy to allow new energy and positive change into your life. At the consultation, Mallory will review your floor plan and how the 5 elements can enhance your home (or workplace) and your life. Reviewing your 9 Star Ki, will provide an understanding of how your space, and the people around you, may be supportive to you in your current phase and looking ahead. Various Feng Shui adjustments may be offered to help align with your goals, and space blessing may be completed.
Prior to the consultation, a questionnaire is to be completed to allow Mallory to gain insight on your personal goals and/or wishes for this process, as well as what is currently showing up in your life. In addition to the questionnaire, a floor plan is to be submitted for the home or space. Guidelines for the floorplan will be sent following the consultation booking. Using the floor plan submitted, Mallory will prepare the Bagua, an ancient Feng Shui map, to provide guidance on the energy in the space.
Feng Shui adjustments and how they can help
There are two types of adjustments used in BTB Feng Shui: mundane and transcendental. Both offer positive changes to the energy of the space and the people who reside in the space. Mundane adjustments are more commonly practiced, especially in design, and involve furniture placement, placement of mirrors or artwork and the use of color or lighting to enhance a space. Transcendental adjustments are more metaphysical, they may include meditation practice, and intention setting or ritual paired with mundane adjustments. For consultations where transcendental adjustments or space blessings are provided, Mallory does honor the Red Envelope Tradition.
The Red Envelope Tradition
The practice of requesting red envelopes during Feng Shui consultations is rooted in the BTB Feng Shui tradition. It involves the client preparing nine red envelopes containing a monetary donation, (such as $1 in 9 envelopes). The denomination is solely up to the client and is considered separate from the consultation fee. This tradition is rich in spiritual significance and is believed to have several key benefits for both the client and consultant. The Red Envelope Tradition honors the exchange of energy between both the client and the practitioner with a symbol of gratitude. A time honored Chinese tradition, red envelopes have been a symbol of good fortune, luck and blessings. The red envelopes are a karmic balance between the energies of both client and consultant. The Red Envelope Tradition is a symbolic way to grant the consultant permission to offer transcendental (metaphysical) adjustments and practices to the client.
Clients are not required to participate in the Red Envelope Tradition, however, clients who are seeking meaningful transformative results may find this practice amplifies the experience, and therefore are more likely to realize their desired results.
